Diving Trip Information

A. Category 1 Dive sites (Trip timings from 8am to 1.30pm)

  1. Bander Al Khairan (more than 20 sites), Al Munassir Wreck (South Side) – 30 Minutes boat drive from the Marina
  2. CAT Island (South Side)  – 1 Minute from the Marina
  3. Jissah Point (South Side ) – 10 Minutes from the Marina
  4. Fahal Island (6 sites) (North Side) – 40 Minutes from the Marina

B. Category 2 Dive site (Trip timings from 8am to 1.30pm from Seeb Port Marina)

  1. Dimaniyat Islands (North Side) – 25 minutes boat trip from Seeb Port Marina)

Trip includes –

  • Snack box with packet juice, cookies, chips, cake slice packet and water.

License Level Requirement – Scuba Diver & above (for all the below trips)

Documents required – License copy & duly filled & signed Diving Medical Questionnaire

103 – Half day dive trip

2 tanks dive trip to any one of the Category 1 & Category 2 dive sites. Price all-inclusive is OMR 59 ( without dive gear OMR 48)

107 – Third Dive on the same day

You can choose do a third dive on the same day at our Category 1 dive sites only. Price all-inclusive OMR 21 (without dive gear OMR 17)

108 – Night Dive (1 tank dive)

Our night dive trip is a non-regular trip and usually scheduled on Thursday. Trip timings are from 6pm to 8pm either from boat or beach. The boat option is subject to a minimum of 5 divers on the boat. Price all-inclusive OMR 54 ( without dive gear OMR 44)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • In case of bad weather, the trip will either be cancelled or rescheduled based on availability.
  • The diver must read the Medical questionnaire thoroughly before confirming the booking.
  • If any of the response to the Medical Questionnaire is ‘YES’, then a duly signed and stamped medical certificate must be submitted along with clinic contact information at least 7 days prior to your trip date. Certificate must clearly state ‘FIT TO DIVE’ & validity not to exceed 12 months from the date of issue.
  • If you are 75 years and older, you must submit the most recent medical certificate at least 15 days in advance to Gulf Divers LLC  in order for us to obtain the necessary approvals from the insurance company. This applies even when all the responses to the Medical questionnaire are NO.
  • Dive packages are non-transferrable, non-shareable unless specifically approved by Gulf Divers LLC and must be used within six months from the date of purchase.
  • If you are unable to use the dive package due to bad weather & both parties fail to reschedule it, then unused dives will be refunded on pro-rata basis, minus any applicable bank charges & taxes.
  • Category 2 dive site is subject to minimum of 2 tanks dive and if for whatsoever reason you decide to do only 1 dive, there will be no refund issued.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations received within 48 hours to the trip will incur in a cancellation fee of 100% of the Booking cost.
  • Cancellations received within 3 days to 7 days to the trip will incur in a cancellation fee of 20% of the Booking cost. (Excluding the VAT & Dive Permit fee)
  • Cancellations received more than 7 days to the trip will not incur in a cancellation fee.
  • In case the need arises to cancel the trip due to unexpected medical condition, full refund will be issued subject to submission of medical certificate.
